What is PTAC?
Highland PTAC is Parent Teacher Association Committee.

What does PTAC do?
We have monthly meetings to discuss what is going on at the school, from a new vision to testing and results. We fundraise (catalog, butter braids, movie night) to support the school: buying t-shirts for the entire school, teacher appreciation week, giving money to different teachers or committees in the school to purchase items for the children.

Where does PTAC meet?
We meet in the Highland library. 

Why should you be involved with PTAC?
It is a way to help the school and children with very little commitment. It is being in the loop and in the know with what changes are going on at the school that may impact your child.

¿Qué hace PTAC ?
 Tenemos reuniones mensuales para discutir lo que está pasando en la escuela , para probar la nueva visión y los resultados. Recaudamos fondos (catálogo, butter braids, noche de cine ) para apoyar a la escuela: compra de camisetas para toda la escuela , semana de apreciación a los maestros, dando dinero a diferentes maestros o comités en la escuela para comprar artículos para los niños.

¿Dónde se reúne PTAC ?
Nos reunimos en la biblioteca de Highland.

¿Por qué debe estar involucrado con PTAC ?
Es una manera de ayudar a la escuela y a los niños con muy poco compromiso. Es estar en el circuito y en el saber de qué cambios se están llevando a cabo en la escuela que pueda afectar a su hijo.
